KAKEHASHI AFRICA- NIGERIA INITIATIVE CELEBRATE IT'S 10th BATCH PARTICIPANTS SEND-FORTH TO JAPAN

The Kakehashi Africa - Nigeria Initiative (KANI) is Non-Profit Organization,established on 7th April 2021 with the aim of creating a bridge between Nigeria and
the Japan through facilitating business, cultural and educational exchange. KANI also active in deepening ties in areas of sustainable economic, Social and cultural relationship between Nigeria and Japan.
The organisation has welcomed the present government policies in industrialization, wealth creation and its effort in
diversifying the Nigeria Economy, which align with with Japan ABE-Initiative objectives.
This year's SEND-FORTH marks ABE-INIATIVE 10th batch in which 19 Nigerians were selected by Japanese government for Masters and PhD scholarship. They include; Mansur Salisu, Adesanya Oluwatoyi, Adepoju Damilola, SADA Tukur, Talatu Tarfa, Benedict Okoro, Zayyad Abdul rahman, Adebiyi Oluwadara, Sunday Prince Nkemjika,Hafeez Ayo Sulyman and some others.
According to Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Nigeria Chief Representative Mr. Tuzurio Susumu, the scholarship is in line with Japanese government commitment to empower and equip young Africa advanced knowledge and skills and also do internship in Japanese companies. The overall objective is to strengthen the relationship between Nigeria and Japan in some other areas like agricultures and cultural tourism.
Mr. Sasumu Equally admonished participants to be mindful of innovations because when people with same goal, dream and target, gather together definitely innovations thrives, and tasked them to utilize this great opportunity extended to them to be good ambassadors of the nation by demonstrating high sense of commitment and professionalism during the adventure.
The president of KANI Mr BAWALLE ALIYU ALI expressed satisfaction over the outstanding records of (KANI), stating that so in last 12 month they were able to launch KANI second newsletter, support 19 Japanese companies during Lagos international trade fair, organized Solar Training to about 25 25 Youth, trained junior and high secondary students on waste management and installed solar panel at primary health care in Kabusa Abuja among others.
Mr BAWALLE admonished the participants to obey Japanese Law, and always bear in mind that they are ambassadors representing millions of Nigerians.
He further thanked the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for been transparent during the rigorous and highly competitive process and laudable support JICA giving to KANI.
In his remark KANI board Chairman Engr Chugbo Ogualili informed the celebrant that KANI is a fraction of Kakehashi Africa as a whole. " It represents all the Africa scholars in Japan, specifically it's a network of scholars all over the continent and they are been trained on how to organize businesses and network all over the globe", and thank JICA for nominating for the scholarship.
In another development, Dr. SARUMOH BOLU, member of KANI management, shares his experience while in Japan saying "he identified punctuality as one of the keys to succeed in Japan".
He encouraged the participants to use the moment to make positive changes in their career" because any little change transit to unbelievable great change".
The beneficiaries were humble in appreciation thanking the organisation for the opportunities given to them by Kakehashi and JICA, promising to obey Japanese Law and remain focused while in Japan.
