Over 5m jobs to be created in waste sector in 2025 The Founding Chairman, National Association of Scrap and Waste Dealers Employers of Nigeria (NASWDEN), Alhaji Suleiman Lateef, said over five million jobs would be created in the scrap/waste sector in 2025 Lateef made this known diring the inauguration of a Caretaker Committee for the association on Friday in Abuja. According to Lateef, who is also a Founding Chairman of Board of Trustee (BOT), the association plays significant roles in contributing to the development of the country. "We educate our members on their role as employers of labour in the country. We have created about ten million jobs, but we aim to make it 15 million before the end of this year. "Our members are law abiding. They do not encourage vandalism. This because, we have a disciplinary Committee that deals with any of our members that involves in vandalism. We say no to vandalism.
